Threshold Tending ✷ Death & Grief Work

My deepest calling has been to work with the dying and bereaved. I have completed End of Life Doula training for both Adult and Pediatric clients from the University of Vermont's School of Medicine in partnership with Osher Integrative Health. I have also gone on to complete certification as a Grief and Bereavement Specialist.

What is an End-of-Life Doula (EOLD)?

Though I don't provide medical care, my work as an end-of-life doula complements hospice by offering emotional, physical, and spiritual support — helping families understand the dying process, plan obituaries and funerals, sit vigil, and navigate grief afterward. I also support those without a terminal diagnosis who wish to face their fears around death, as well as families grieving the loss of a beloved pet, through storytelling, memorial-making, and honoring their memory. My training follows the NEDA (National End-of-Life Doula Alliance) Standards of Practice and Code of Conduct for ethical, professional care.

How do I get started?

We'll begin with a free 30 minute virtual consult, where I'll walk you through my offerings and answer any questions you might have. Together, we will map out a plan suited to your needs. If you decide I am a good fit for your needs, my hourly rate is $88/hour billed in advance. While insurance typically doesn't cover doula services, I want my services to feel accessible to all; Therefore, I do offer sliding-scale coupon codes at check-out as well as bundled package pricing that offers additional savings. Below you will also find an à la carte menu of add-ons services.

Praise for Death & Grief Work

“I had the pleasure of working with Dasha at our local hospital for many years. I was able to witness Dasha’s incredible compassion for those in need through the No One Dies Alone (NODA) program. Without hesitation, Dasha treated the patients we encountered through NODA as if they were a member of her own family. She truly encompassed what the mission of the program was about. I know she will continue to serve those who are in need of loving and compassionate end-of-life care.” ~ Jessica K.

“I recognize that the heart of a tender believer is often also the same heart that carries burdens of great weight. Dasha Bond is one of those empathic believers. Having trained as well as felt her way through life’s many troubles, I applaud her as she answers the call to assist those transitioning from an earthly vessel to a spiritual one.” ~ Jan H.
